EMCO has been born by mothers and its mission is to help mothers. I personally have been a member since the beginning. I loved the different workshops they have regularly. I have learned so many things about parenting, nutrition, psychology, and so many different subjects. They have had different gatherings for moms on different occasions like Xmas, Mother’s Day. I found so many good friends in this organization. In general, EMCO had a positive effect on me as a person and mom. Thanks to all who are involved specially Maryam Shafaee who started this great organization.

It is with much enthusiasm that I am writing to recommend the "EMCO" as a great supporting team. I reached out to them about two years back when my life was turning upside down as if someone has pulled the ground from under my feet. I needed guidance and emotional support on how to navigate through those nightmares and eventually come out of them. It was one warm sunny afternoon in July 2018 when I called "Maryam-the group admin". She patiently listen to my frustration and offered the emotional support that I needed at that very moment. Later down the road, she-EMCO also provided some leads and points of contact that could be helpful for me. I would like to thank you for all the time, help, and effort you and your organization are doing for me. However the word “Thanks” can not describe how grateful I am to have support from you. With the kind and giving heart that you have, I cried several times. One night while I was so disappointed and I had no idea where and whom to talk about my dental medical problem which is a huge cost process and I can not afford it with the low income that currently I have, I decided to send a message to Maryam, the next morning she was replying and from that minute she always followed up with me, dentist and other people who might be helpful. She offered that the organization collects some money to start the procedure. Now I feel so good to know these angels, people who exist to help others with their warm hearts and giving hand. The world is a nice place to live with all of you. I felt that I am not alone anymore, and hopefully, I will be able to help others through your organization in the future.

I came to Canada in 2020 through spouse sponsorship, but unfortunately, from the first day, I was under a lot of psychological pressure coming from my husband. I continued to be upset and day by day I tried to help him to love him in order to bring him back to a mutual relationship. this goes to the point where now I have no one here to go to, and no money, I called EMCO several times and desperately asked for help and they are always sincere, helping me through tough situations and continue to support me, I appreciate their gesture very much.

Greetings to all those who are as kind as angels in this house full of love, EMCO, where gives hope to many, and brings a smile to their lips. I would like to thank all the personnel of the EMCO for their kindness and generosity which cannot be priced at. It is hard to put into words in order to thank all the things they have done for people in need. I enjoyed working with EMCO. There are so many opportunities within EMCO. EMCO truly helps mothers in so many ways. I learned a lot volunteering for EMCO like acknowledging my skills, learning to help others, and communicating with mothers. When my mother suggested to me EMCO, it was hard at first because I had to work with individuals older than me but when I encountered Ms. Shafaei I felt I could trust her like my own mother. She’s a great leader, she’s kind, and she spends her life helping others, for instance, mothers. Ms. Shafaei is my role model. I want to help others like her. Volunteering for EMCO was a wonderful experience for me. 

Thank you so much again and again. I did surgery recently and I couldn’t go out. As always, the angels of your organization came and brought so many essential things for me. God bless all of you. You are always at the right time. I appreciate your kindness and help.

I got different age clothes for my 6 children, chairs, electric things, pans, household items, and winter clothing. I never thought about studying after high school. Since I started working as a volunteer at EMCO, I met many mothers whose experience helped me a lot in my personal life, and one of the most important experiences was that I started studying dental assistantship at the age of 41 and with the help of EMCO I am working now.
